Our dedicated volunteers organized an enriching day trip to KidZania Kuala Lumpur, with the primary goal of inspiring and educating young minds about future career possibilities. This educational adventure provided an invaluable experience for the children involved, leaving a profound impact on their perception of the world of work.

Exploring Career Avenues: Kidzania Kuala Lumpur offers a unique setup where children can engage in role-playing activities that mimic real-world jobs. The children had the opportunity to step into the shoes of various professionals, from doctors and firefighters to chefs and engineers. This immersive experience allowed them to explore different career paths in a hands-on and playful manner.

Rentas Puncak, in its ongoing commitment to enriching the lives of children in our community, sponsored an exciting and educational visit to the National Zoo. This event aimed to provide children with a unique opportunity to connect with wildlife, learn about animals, and enjoy a fun-filled day of exploration.

Event Highlights:

• Educational Experience: The children were greeted by enthusiastic guides who led them through various sections of the National Zoo, sharing fascinating facts about the animals and their habitats. This educational aspect allowed the children to expand their knowledge about the animal kingdom.
  
• Animal Encounters: The highlight of the day was, undoubtedly, the chance for the children to observe animals up close. From majestic lions to playful primates, the children were captivated by the diverse range of species at the zoo.
  

Every year, our organization hosts its highly anticipated Annual Volunteer and Family Dinner Celebration Night. This special event serves as a cherished tradition, bringing together our dedicated volunteers and their families for an evening of festivity, appreciation, and reflection on our collective achievements over the past year.

Event Highlights:

• Warm Gathering: The evening began with a friendly atmosphere, fostering connections and laughter among volunteers and their families.
  
• Recognition: Volunteers' exceptional contributions took center stage with heartfelt speeches and awards, motivating them to continue their vital work.
  
• Entertainment: Live music, dance, and a talent show added excitement, creating a lively atmosphere and bringing smiles to all.
  

The White Flag Movement in Malaysia arose during the COVID-19 pandemic as a means for those in need to discreetly request help by displaying a white flag. This initiative quickly spread, symbolizing hope and community support, as individuals, businesses, and NGOs rallied to provide essentials to those affected. It exemplified solidarity, allowing people to maintain dignity while receiving necessary aid during the challenging times of lockdowns.

During this time we kept the momentum going for 7 months from July 2021 to January 2022 with 590 bags of groceries being distributed in total. On average we distributed between 20-25 bags weekly. We believe this longer term help greatly benefited the families who received them. It allowed them to get back on their feet again when the economy opened up rather than a one-off help.
